Went out filming with a good mate of mine, Sam Boardman.

He will be in Webisode 11, which will come out late june.

I snapped a few shots a while ago of Sam, but UFO didn't need them.. so they can now go Online.

Rory Hackett Likes to Table

Went to 4a for a bit, took some photos, took some video. generally just chilled out a bit.

But for now. you can look at some photos, of the ever mighty Rory Hackett.

Back from a long ski season, and being of the bike for a while, i would say his tables arn't looking too shabby.




Ok.. this one has to be viewed in LARGE its like a little game.. spot the rider.


It just shows, if you keep your eyes peeled.. there are trails everywhere!

Now, Ive got a 200mm lens, which is basically very long and zoomed in. I never ever use it for bike shots. but i got the chance finaly!

27 hours

I've been up for 27 hours straight.. Now 27 and a half.

In the time i have:
Taken an exam
spent 6 hours in the library revising
watched Anthill's new film "follow me" (disapointing)
and Been out on a ride at 5am

we went out as the light started coming out, to shoot some shots of a rising sun.
The sun didn't rise as epicly as we had expected, but we still managed to get some quite nice stuff!

How to Draw a BMW, in 7 easy steps

Part of my Uni work is a drawing module.
I set to work drawing a BMW 3 series coupé.

Here is how to draw it, in 7 easy steps!

Start with some linework.

Then add some basic marker shading to the bodywork and wheels.

Slowly darken the shading and add tyres and highlights.

Add shadows, more shading and tyre grooves.

Add the lights with marker.

Improve the lights with pencil and add windows and top body work with pastels.

add window boardering and car internals.tweak exhaust pipes and pastel the wheel.

Then...You're done.

A Strange Parcel

I get back to my Uni flat after a long day in the Product Design Studio, to find i have a parcel waiting down at reception.

I go down and pick it up.. Its large Square and quite heavy. and it comes from somewhere in Nottingham.

I take it up-stairs and open it. Green Foam stuff stares back at me.
I love green foam stuff!
I delve deeper

Red Bull have just sent me 24 of there finest Energy Shots. Apparently to help with the late night revision sessions and long and tiresome rides.

A tall growing plant, yellow in colour. Harvested for its Oil.

Also Pretty fun to ride through at high speed.

did a bit of filming with a few uni friends in the setting sun, and snapped a few shots.

Halo BDS Rheola Video

I spent a sunny weekend down at rheola in wales and shot this video.

I'm quite pleased with the final result. The Video was first on the internet by almost a day. I had the fastest turn around time and production speed of all film-makers at the event.

It was a good weekend, cleaned up by the Athertons with the Results as follows:

Rogate Sessions

 One of the last times you can ride at Rogate, without paying £5..so we may aswell make the most of it whilst we can.




There is More Roost coming off his toe than there is of his wheels!







All in all quite a fun session and good to be home for a few easter weeks!

I wanted to shoot this shot but i only have a 50mm on my camera. so i borrowed a 18-55 from kid at 4a and took a few shots with sam.

JAG 35 Vs SX Trail

So the Jag 35 came...and obviously it had to be tested!

I ordered a 35mm adaptor over a month ago, and its finaly just arrived.

Looking really good, nice results on the camera, and not toooo bad in low light. Expect to see it being used in some up and coming films.
